If you have a dog or love to garden, I have an amazing addition you can add to your backyard, a backyard dog kennel fence or garden fence. Watch the full video below to hear all the details of how this can help your life:
Backyard Garden Fence
But why would you want to kennel your dog or fence in your garden? Let me tell you how it has helped me personally, and my wife. We have our whole backyard fenced in with a beautiful cedar wood fence. My wife started a large garden in the backyard. But our dogs kept running through the garden and crushing the plants. We installed the garden fence and it kept the dogs away and the plants safe. It not only is useful by keeping the dogs out. But it keeps the bunnies out too. We don’t have many bunnies to deal with. But you could attach some small mesh chicken wire type of wiring onto the fence to keep the smaller critters out as well. And it doesn’t take too much care every year either to keep the staining and power washing up.
Backyard Dog Kennel Fence
My wife eventually gave up gardening a few years after the backyard garden fence was installed. She kept getting too many bugs. She didn’t want to deal with it. So the charming garden fence was closed, and we let the grass just grow over it. This sat like this for many years, and I mowed it weekly. So we basically had a portion of our backyard fenced in, but with no purpose. That gave us the idea to turn that area into a backyard dog kennel fence in area. We could keep our 3 dogs fenced into an area. So they could do their “business” into a confined area. This serves great when having company come over and you don’t have to worry about poop being all over the backyard. (In case you didn’t get a chance to pick up the dog feces.) It is also useful if you have smaller dog in the winter time. You only have to shovel one area of your yard for the smaller dogs to walk around.
Whatever kind of fence you have remember a good maintenance schedule for your fence is essential for it to do its job.
Lotz of Logic
Not only did the backyard dog kennel fence or garden fence serve two great purposes for our family, but it did something else. The fenced in area added amazing charm to the backyard. Whenever we go to sell our home, I guarantee the next homeowner will appreciate this fenced in area too. Since our backyard was already fenced in, it wasn’t that expensive. We just add in two smaller sides to gain this extra usefulness to the backyard. So honestly, I think most homeowners should do this, and they won’t be disappointed. Great charm, great usefulness, and barely any additional cost!
