Foyer Painting Naperville
One of the most challenging rooms for interior painting is the foyer. In reference to decorating trends, what is being shown in the marketplace are:
- Stringer and risers being painted
- Gone are the old oak posts and instead, having metal ballisters installed to replace them
- Treads and handrails are being stained darker colors
When all of the above is installed, painted, and stained, there is greater contrast shown instead of a staircase that is solid oak.
Another way to dress up your foyer is installation of wainscoting. After installation, you can paint the wainscoting a shade of white and then have the top half of the walls painted in a contrasting color, such as the one shown in the video. This adds character and really dresses up your foyer.
