Front Entry Painting Ideas
Paint Color Ideas – Your foyer is an ideal area to indulge with rich paint color hues. Also, choose colors that can be accented by the colors of the surrounding rooms. If the rooms don’t flow well off of the foyer, than your home looks disjointed.
First Impression – Good or Bad?
What your foyer looks will give your guests an idea of what the rest of your house looks like. Perhaps it’s time to update that foyer. Remember what your mother said, “You only have one chance to make a good first impression.” So, needless to say, one of the most important areas of your home is the foyer. What impression is your foyer making – a good or bad impression?
Accessories
What accessories should you have in the foyer area? Well, if you staircase is not something out of a movie, then you might want to think about a table for your family photography that has been framed. Bring in a small, sophisticated table with a rug that plays off of the newly painted wall color. You can even find some wonderful trinkets to place on that table at the local flea market. The flea market is a wonderful place to find something completely unique than what your guest has at their home. Other accessories for the foyer would be some photography that is framed, a nice mirror, or some artwork discovered at that local flea market or freshly cut flowers.
By getting your foyer freshened up with a new coat of paint, make the right impression to your future guests.
