I recently had a client have this exact issue. It is very common. Of course, a bathroom is supposed to be functional. You go in, shower, do your business, brush your teeth, put on your make-up, kids get ready for school. Bam. Done.
Well, most people really prefer to have their existing bathrooms updated in style and size. Why not have that exact same functional bathroom look luxurious? Let’s go through the project in more detail.
Customer’s Concerns
Let’s talk about our customer’s concerns that they had with their existing extra bathroom. Their additional hallway bathroom was a little too small and shower stall was a little too small as well. The style wasn’t as masculine as they would have liked it to be.
Our Solution
We remodeled the bathroom shower area to make it slightly bigger and feel larger too with the design. We wanted to make the focal point of the bathroom two location: the back wall and the vanity area.
We finished it off with high-end finishes such as a Cambria countertop, a vanity from Restoration Hardware. To complete the look, we finished off the back wall with remodeled shower stall with high-end porcelain tile that accent glass tile cut in for a beautiful shower niche shelf.
We achieved our objective of making their bathroom area appear larger with a more contemporary style with a masculine undertone.
