But really why would you ever want or need to take a door off its hinges? It typically comes up for the following reasons:
- Moving Into or Out of Your Current Home: If you have a large piece of furniture, that will need to get through your doorway;
- New Appliances: Do you have a new washer, dryer, or a new kitchen fridge being delivered? You’ll more than likely have to take a door off it hinges; and
- Replacing interior doors : If your current doors are outdated or dinged up pretty bad, you’ll have to know how to remove a door to get the project started
